About Dr. Andreas Dressel:

Dr. Andreas Dressel is a member of the SPD and has been the Senator for Finance of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg since 2018. Born in Hamburg in 1975, he studied law at the University of Hamburg and passed his first state examination there. After working as a research assistant at the Department of Public Administration at the University of Hamburg and completing his doctorate, his legal clerkship took him to Los Angeles as well as Hamburg. He then passed his second state examination and worked as a lawyer in Hamburg's higher administration. He has been a member of the SPD since 1993 and has held numerous political offices since then, including that of Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Hamburg Parliament from 2011 to 2018. Dr. Andreas Dressel is married and has three children.

About Matthias Wittenburg:

Prior to this, he worked in the banking business for 25 years, most recently as a board member for Corporates & Markets at a Landesbank. He holds an MBA from Cardiff University and completed the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Program at Saïd Business School.
