The current episode #09 is all about Dr. Malte Heyne and the current challenges and future prospects for SMEs. The Managing Director of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce answers Matthias Wittenburg, Co-Founder Beteiligungsbörse Deutschland 's questions in the podcast on the topic of "SMEs now and in the future".
Dr. Malte Heyne talks about his dissertation on a highly interesting economic topic. The podcast sheds light on the role of Germany's oldest chamber of commerce as an important institution for companies and the economy in the region. Current challenges such as international competition, regulation and the shortage of skilled workers are discussed. Special focus is placed on tackling energy issues and the strategic use of artificial intelligence.
Especially in a global environment in which Germany is struggling with overregulation despite good conditions, equity is crucial for SMEs. The advisory services and representation of interests offered by the Chamber of Commerce and effective networking and consolidation of capital demand and supply strengthen SMEs. Restraint on the part of the state offers companies the opportunity to concentrate on their strengths and support overall economic development.
"In every crisis there is also an opportunity," says Dr. Heyne, talking about the location strategy "Hamburg 2040: How do we want to live in the future - and on what?". Crisis management alone is therefore not enough when it comes to how Hamburg's role as an attractive business location and liveable metropolis can be expanded. It is worth listening.
The program is presented by BB Beteiligungsbörse Deutschland GmbH and moderated by co-founder and managing director Matthias Wittenburg. It is aimed at investors, entrepreneurs, consultants and all other market participants. Every second Friday, this podcast is all about the exciting world of investments. The show not only offers insights into the company of the respective guest, but also into their experiences with equity investments and addresses the specific challenges of the respective sector.
